LIDC drone championship opens registration

We shared the launch announcement of the Libyan International Drone Championship (LIDC), billed as the first of its kind in Libya, Africa and the Arab world. We organise and supervise it together with the US-based REC Foundation, under the patronage of the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, and it is open to students aged 17-18 from across Libya.

The path starts with two weeks of online training and a one-week in-person camp, then a national round between 12 Libyan teams whose top 6 face 6 international teams, with the Drone World Championship in St. Louis in April 2027 as the final goal, where 2 Libyan teams will represent Libya.
